Unfortunately, he struggled to align with their culture and was terminated within six months. Undeterred, he leveraged a framework he had developed for the job search and application process, empowering candidates.

Within 30 days, he secured four job offers, each offering a salary 3x to 5x higher than his previous one. He eventually joined Palm Bay International, the largest privately-owned importer of fine wines and spirits in the U.S. Sam's journey continued as he assumed the role of CEO, successfully growing the group's private label division into the industry's largest and most profitable player.
